Dive from your doorstep

You're staying minutes from the Salish Sea — some of the most celebrated cold-water diving anywhere, with wolf eels, giant Pacific octopus, plumose anemones and crisp winter visibility. Come back, rinse your kit, hang it to dry, and warm up by the fire.

Shore dives close by
Madrona Point and other Nanoose-area entries are a short drive — easy boots-on, world-class marine life.
Sunken warships off Nanaimo
The artificial-reef wrecks (HMCS Saskatchewan & Cape Breton) are a popular boat-charter day trip nearby.
Gear rinse & hang station
A dedicated outdoor spot to rinse tanks, regs and suits and hang everything to dry overnight.
Space for your kit
Room to stage doubles, sidemount or rec gear — plus beach chairs and a cooler for surface intervals.

One honest note on air fills

We don't fill tanks on-site yet. Come with full cylinders, or grab fills nearby in the Nanaimo / Parksville area (about 25 minutes). We're happy to point you to the closest shop.

Where you'll be

Fairwinds is a quiet, forested community on the Nanoose Bay peninsula — between Parksville and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island's east coast. You're close to beaches, trails, a marina and golf, with the Departure Bay and Duke Point ferries roughly 25–40 minutes away. We're on Carmichael Road — the map shows the house and the best dive sites nearby. (Full address and check-in details are sent once your booking is confirmed.)
